How To Choose a Heavy Duty Mold Racking?
When purchasing a heavy duty mold racking, you'd better not just look at the price first. Quality comes first than the price.Because this type of heavy duty racking is needed to store some relatively heavy items, for safety factor, you need to be careful when selection.
There are mainly three aspects to consider when selecting the Heavy Mold Shelving.
1.Load capacity of the rack.
This requires calculating the weight of each mold according to the maximum number of molds that can be placed on each layer, so as to select the rack that is suitable for bearing the load. Considering the impact load under dynamic load, the total weight of the rack must be bigger than the total weight of the mold.Normally, the steel panel load =1.5 times the total weight of mold.
2.Dimension of the rack.
The size (length, width) of the steel panel and the actual available height of each layer shall be determined according to the actual measured dimensions of the molds. Gernally, the length and width of the steel panel should be slightly larger than the total length and width of the mold.The space height of each layer should be higher than the total height of the mold.
3.Handling.
For molds with a weight of less than 200KG, hoisting gourds can be installed on the top of the mold frame to assist the transportation. For heavy molds with a weight of more than 200KG, moving gantry frame and electric hoist can be used to carry out the transportation, so that can reduce a lot of manpower.
